Last time Wrexham drew 3-3 against Crewe.


WREXHAM came back to draw 3-3 with Crewe Alexandra at La STóK Cae Ras after falling three times behind in League Two. Phil Parkinson’s men played with 10 men for nearly an hour after Ryan Barnett was awarded a controversial tackle and Paul Mullin equalized with a superb header.

Crewe went into the break at 2-1, but Mullin, returning from a serious injury, made it 2-2 with another well-taken goal early in the second half.


Although the visitors regained the lead, Wrexham hung on until the end and equalized deep into injury time through substitute Steven Fletcher to claim their share of the play-offs. Players rate the following:

PAUL MULLIN: Back with a bang as the Wrexham striker scored two brilliant goals. 7

 

OLLIE PALMER: Mullin’s brilliant ban made a break after a second and he made it difficult for the striker. 6

STEVEN FLETCHER: Two chances went begging before Fletcher scored the final equalizer to open his account for Wrexham. 7

 

JACOB MENDY: Delivered a brilliant cross for Fletcher’s equaliser. You won’t see a better delivery. 6
