Tyler Morton assesses the new players now on their way to Liverpool Liverpool youngster Tyler Morton has shared histhoughts on the new players now on
their way to the club. Morton is currently
at Hull City. Tyler Morton returns to the Hully City Championship this season.
Things are also going well, with the 21-year-old playing regularly and putting up
impressive stats. In fact, Morton completes 90 percent of his passes. He is
throwing tackles and wrenches and things are looking promising for the
young midfielder. But of course Morton’s main target is Liverpool’s first team and
he still dreams of getting there. However, that has become a much more difficult
task this summer as the Reds have brought in a selection of new young
midfielders. Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis MacAllister and Ryan Gravenberch are
still around for a long time if all goes according to plan. It is a different
landscape for a player like Morton, who previously hoped to succeed Jordan
Henderson, Fabinho and James Milner. So what does Morton think? Speaking to
the Liverpool Echo this week, he explained that as a Red, he is delighted
the club has such talent in midfield. “They’re amazing football players, aren’t
they?” Morton said. βYou can see their game is developing thanks to their youth
and experience. βIt pushes me even harder and makes me want it a little bit
more. I am very happy, I am glad that Liverpool got this team because I am also
a Liverpool supporter. They’re an amazing team and I’m excited to get back
there.” So Morton doesn’t sound very stupid. Head#039; however, is only 21
years old and can enter the system if only given a fair chance. JΓΌrgen Klopp is
proving once again this season that he gives opportunities to young players who
deserve them. Jarell Quansah is a great example of this. Morton will be hoping to
impress and get more opportunities in
the summer. His current form suggests he could do just that.
