the notebook air connections to the wharf, a dramatic international area
with the flags of Tyrese Fornah and Port Vale. The Derby County winger has been
linked with a move for Blackpool winger CJ Hamilton, who is also interested in
Championship duo Huddersfield and QPR. Hamilton is out of contract next
summer, meaning he will become a free agent unless he signs a new deal with the
Seasiders. That could force Blackpool to cash in on the former Mansfield
defender in January rather than lose him at the end of the season. Derby are
looking to bolster their options for the
new year, with manager Paul Warne admitting he plans to add “general
pitching”. And Football Insider claim Hamilton is being considered, with the
28-year-old having one goal and six assists this season. Hamilton has been a
constant presence for Blackpool in League One this season, but has played
as a wing-back in a 3-5-2 formation. Hamilton, who has a one-year extension
to his current contract in the summer, featured against Derby earlier in the
campaign as Paul Warne’s side produced one of their best performances of the
campaign in a 3-1 win at Bloomfield Road. . . Fornah sees red in Sierra
Leonean drama. Derby County midfielder Tyrese Fornah has been sent
to Sierra Leone for Sunday’s dramatic World Cup qualifier against Egypt. The
former Reading midfielder was sent off in the first half as Egypt won 2-0 after
Trezeguet, a former Aston Villa winger, scored twice. But the game hit the
headlines after an attack took place on the pitch minutes after a small number
of fans tried to reach Mo Salah. The Liverpool star took it all in stride
regardless of his safety. And he called the governors and the army to help him out
of the field. Fornah will now fight for a place in midfield at Derby when they
face Bristol Rovers this weekend. The Rams can move into the top six with a
win over Rovers, whose squad includes former Derby striker Chris Martin. Port
Vale tickets gone Derby County have proved to be the most supported club
away from home this season, as
evidenced by a sell-out trip to Port Vale.
The Rams were given 3,106 tickets for next Tuesday’s trip to Vale Park, but now
they are all gone. There are no more League One tickets for Derby. Last season
Derby recorded a dramatic 2-1 win over Vale when they scored twice in the last
three minutes of the game to take three vital points. Fans without a ticket are
advised not to travel to Port Vale as they will not be able to enter the stadium.
