LFC News – Germany Klopp interest remains, Bowen doubt and fitness update 

Your final Liverpool news of the week is with a solid lead that won’t go away and West Ham will rally by Sunday.

Klopp is still Germany’s “main candidate”.

Jurgen Klopp is still considered the “top candidate” for the national team role by the German FA, with new boss Julian Nagelsmann only given a short-term role.

As is often the case when a German managerial job becomes vacant, Klopp’s name has been linked with the job following the sacking of Hans Flick earlier this month.

Nagelsmann was appointed as Flick’s replacement after he was sacked by Bayern Munich earlier this year, but his new contract only runs until next summer.

Although BBC Sport’s Constantin Eckner has found a replacement, he believes Germany could tempt Klopp to take the role in the near future. Klopp’s contract at Anfield runs until the summer of 2026 and frankly we’re not interested in speculating to the contrary!
