**Luka Dončić Donates $5,000 to Restore Vandalized Kobe and Gianna Bryant Mural**

Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Dončić has stepped up to fund the restoration of a beloved mural honoring Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna, following its recent vandalism in downtown Los Angeles. The mural, titled *“Mambas Forever,”* was originally created in 2020 as a tribute to the basketball legend and his daughter after their tragic passing in a helicopter crash.

The mural was recently defaced with graffiti, sparking outrage among fans and the local community. Artist Louie Palsino, who painted the original work, launched a fundraiser to cover the restoration costs. Before the campaign could gain much momentum, Dončić made a $5,000 donation—covering the full amount needed for the restoration.

Dončić, who joined the Lakers earlier this year, said giving back to the community is something he values deeply. He also expressed the importance of preserving Kobe and Gianna’s legacy, particularly in a city where their impact still resonates strongly.

The artist and fans alike have expressed their gratitude for Dončić’s generous gesture, which not only ensures the mural’s return to its original state but also reinforces Dončić’s growing bond with the city of Los Angeles and its basketball legacy.
