The San Francisco 49ers will return Deebo Samuel to the lineup for Sunday’s game against the AFC South-leading Jacksonville Jaguars.

Samuel has been out with a hairline fracture on his shoulder since falling in the 49ersand#039; October 15, 19-17 loss to the Cleveland Browns.

After starting the season 5-0 and averaging just over 30 points per game, San Francisco was on a three-game skid, scoring exactly 17 points in three straight losses. In doing so, the 49ers are now tied with the Seattle Seahawks for first place in the NFC West. San Francisco is 2-0 in the division with wins over the Los Angeles Rams and Arizona Cardinals, while the Seahawks are 1-1 with a loss to the Rams but a win over the Cardinals.

After 49ersand#039; Week 9 Hi Samuel told reporters Friday that he’s looking forward to getting back on the field and helping the team get back on track.

andquot;When you’re not in the game, it’s hard, but I’ve been there,andquot; said Samuel. andquot;It’s only one game, don’t try to do anything crazy, just go out there and do what I do.andquot;

Samuel has practiced every day this week and has no signs of injury before the Jacksonville game. His teammates will certainly be excited to have him healthy.

andquot;Heand#039;s such a threat when he has the ball,andquot; running back Christian McCaffrey told ESPN. andquot;He makes a play that looks like it and it doesn’t work. Just having the confidence that the head is there means a lot to some of us.andquot;

According to ESPNand#039’s Adam Schefter, the team should also get star left tackle Trent Williams back after being limited all week. Williams was also injured in that game against the Browns – suffering a right ankle injury – but was able to finish the game. Due to recurring ankle injuries, Williamsand#039; recovery took longer, head coach Kyle Shanahan said.

Jaylon Moore started Williamsand#039; place, but the difference was sharp. And nowhere more clearly than the team and the inability to run the ball. After posting the third-most yards per game (156.4), San Francisco has ranked 19th in rushing yards at 95.3 per game since the Browns game. Williams is questionable.
