Klopp on a verge to sign 21-years old Starlet From Celts Vigo.
According to one rumor, Liverpool has made a bid of €25 million (£21.5 million) for Gabri Veiga of Celta Vigo.
Despite the £95 million additions of Alexis MacAllister and Dominik Szoboszlai, the Reds still have work to do on
their much-discussed midfield reconstruction.
After saying farewell to James Milner, Naby Keita, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain as well as Jordan Henderson and
Fabinho, who recently left for Saudi Arabia, Liverpool is in need of more midfielders.
The 2019/20 Premier League winners are reportedly searching for “two profiles” — a “progressive destroyer” and a
“controller” — with Andre Trindade (Fluminense) and Romeo Lavia (Southampton) being highly linked.
According to a Spanish newspaper, the Reds have made a proposal for Gabri Veiga, a 21-year-old star midfielder for
Celta, since they are looking for a different kind of player.
Last week, it was reported that representatives from Liverpool met with club icon and current Celta manager Rafa
Benitez to discuss the young players. A new report from Deportes COPE Galicia (via Estadio Deportivo) indicates
that an offer has since been made.Veiga is a far more offensive option than the other midfielders Liverpool has been
linked with lately, and he doesn’t necessarily suit either of the two Reddy-described “profiles.”The 2022–23 La Liga
season saw the outstanding 11 goals scored by the Spain Under-21 star, who has previously been mentioned as a
possible target for Chelsea, Manchester City, and Real Madrid.
The Premier League is Veiga’s most likely next stop, according to Estadio Deportivo.
According to the source, Celta has been offered to lend Veiga back to the Reds for the upcoming season in exchange
for a ‘juicy’ €25 million proposal from the Reds for the midfielder, who has a €40 million (£34 million) release
clause.

Should Liverpool be getting ready to say goodbye to Mohamed Salah?
The Liverpool team that was so successful between 2018 and 2022 is now disintegrating before our very eyes.
What was first a minor personnel change has now grown significantly, thus marking the end of a particular era at
Anfield.
Sadio Mane relocated to Bayern Munich in 2022, and Gini Wijnaldum said goodbye in 2021 after joining Roma.
Currently, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabinho, Jordan Henderson, James Milner, Naby Keita, and Roberto Firmino
have all left this summer.
While roughly half of the strongest XI for the Reds still consists of Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil van Dijk,
Andy Robertson, and Mohamed Salah, there is a palpable sense of change in the air, especially in midfield.
Some of those named don’t seem to be leaving for the time being; Van Dijk and Alexander-Arnold have recently been
named Liverpool’s new captain and vice-captain, respectively; it would be shocking if either departed for a number of
years; however, Salah might be a different story.
Along with the boss, The Egyptian King has undoubtedly been the biggest superstar of the Jurgen Klopp era. When
he arrived in 2017, some even questioned whether he was just Mane’s backup in attack.
Six years later, Salah is one of the most recognizable footballers on the planet, both on and off the field, having
broken several records, leading Liverpool to numerous trophy victories.
He has occasionally carried the Reds through games on his own, and the amount of consistency he has displayed is
astounding. That is evidenced by the 186 goals he has scored in 305 games as well as the 74 assists he has collected,
which silences those who erroneously assert that his game is “only about goals” and that he ‘only cares about his
scoring stats’.
The top 10 goal scorers for Liverpool in the Premier League
Salah may once again be the first name on Klopp’s roster as another new season approaches. Although the likes of
Luis Diaz, Darwin Nuez, Diogo Jota, and Cody Gakpo don’t seem like lock-in starters, the 31-year-old will enter the
lineup at the top of most games.
But the question still stands: Will this be his final year wearing a Liverpool jersey?
Given Salah’s enormous influence over the years, it’s a question that many supporters will probably feel like a stab
through the heart, but it feels far less impossible now than it could have in the past.
There is no doubt that a significant decision will need to be taken by all parties around this time next year because
the legendary Egypt player’s current Liverpool contract expires in the summer of 2025.
Similar to Harry Kane at Tottenham right now, Salah will only have a year left on his contract at that point, and the
Reds will need to decide whether to keep him and risk losing him on a free transfer 12 months later, or accept a huge
contract offer from elsewhere.
Given that Mane, Firmino, Fabinho, and Henderson have all moved there this summer for eye-watering salaries –
even when compared to the life-changing salaries football players already earn – the risk of interest from Saudi
Arabia goes without saying.
Salah might end up being the face of football’s somewhat repulsive new footballing superpower, so a move there
might change his mind if it’s still going strong in 2024.
If Salah decides he has accomplished all he can at Anfield and wants to make one more significant move while he is
at or near the top of his game, there is also the chance that some of the biggest teams in Europe will show interest.
He will have spent seven years at Liverpool by next summer. The limit of what Salah could feasibly do at Anfield may
have been reached at that moment, despite the fact that he still needs 42 goals to tie fourth-place Billy Liddell’s 228
club goals total.
