After Chelsea’s first-day test against Liverpool, Robert Sanchez’s concern was identified.

Updates on Robert Sanchez, Moises Caicedo,

and Michael Olise are among the most

recent Chelsea news and rumors around transfers.

Darren Bent, a former striker for Tottenham

Hotspur, asserted that Robert Sanchez, the

new Chelsea goalkeeper, isn’t totally at ease

with the ball at his feet since the Blues’ new

goalie struggled against Liverpool on Sunday.

Bent spoke to talkSPORT about Sanchez.

said: “He gives me a little jittery with the

ball at his feet. He simply waits too long and clings on to it.

“There was a single instance where he

handed it directly to [Alexis] Mac Allister,

and if his pass

Nunez is superior since he has a shot at goal.

Crystal Palace playmaker Michael Olise has

taken to Instagram to send a cryptic

message amid talk of a potential move to Chelsea.

Taking to the social media platform, the

Eagles’ starlet posted a video of him back on

the training field doing some light jogging,

alongside a smile emoji, a laughing emoji

and a confused emoji. It remains to be seen

what exactly the youngster’s message

means, whether it has anything to do with a

proposed move to Stamford Bridge or if it

was merely just about his fitness.

Caicedo rejection explained

Brighton & Hove Albion CEO Paul Barber

has opened up on Moises Caicedo’s decision

to turn down a move to Liverpool in favour

of a transfer to Chelsea.

“Liverpool are a fantastic club – you’d

imagine anyone would be running up the

M6 for the chance to play at Anfield,” Barber

told talkSPORT. “But for whatever reason,

Moises and his advisors decided London

was their preferred destination.

“In that situation we’re in a difficult

position; we’ve negotiated a British record

deal deal and spent several days working

with Liverpool – who were were

professional throughout. At that point, we’re

out of the loop, it is all between the player

and Liverpool.

“When it became clear he isn’t going to be

joining Liverpool, we have to go into a

different mode, we then have to do it all

again, which we did. We started working

with Chelsea, and we had to protect our own

interests which is the player.”

Sanchez worry

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren

Bent has claimed that Chelsea goalkeeper

Robert Sanchez isn’t entirely comfortable

with the ball at his feet, arguing that the

new Blues shot-stopper wasn’t convincing

against Liverpool on Sunday.

Speaking about Sanchez to talkSPORT, Bent

said: “With the ball at his feet, he makes me

a little bit nervous. He hangs on it, he just

delays a little bit too long.

“There was one time he passed it straight

out to [Alexis] Mac Allister, and if his pass

into [Dawrin] Nunez is better, he’s got a shot on goal.”
