The team has now lost four straight games and Jordan Love has struggled under center. Love has completed just 57.5% of his passes for 1,263 yards, 10 touchdowns and seven interceptions this season.
This is largely a rebuilding year for the Packers after they moved on from Aaron Rodgers and have $60.3 million in dead salary cap space. Looks like the Packers are unhappy.
Who can they trade until October 31st? Green Bay Packers Trade Deadline Moves to Acquire Preston Smith Trading veteran EDGE Preston Smith could make sense for the team as they look to rebuild.
The 30-year-old has two sacks, five quarterback hits, 13 total pressures and 15 defensive stops so far this season. Smith will be paid $5.4 million next year and his cap hit will go from $6.4 million this year to $16.5 million in 2024.
Releasing Smithand#039 removes $1 million from the Packers salary cap in 2023 and an additional $14 million in dead money. . 2024 salary cap and save a total of $2.5 million next year.
The veteran pass rusher could make an immediate impact on a team in need of help, and the Packers would maintain depth at the position with their younger players.
Given the state of this season, it would make sense for the team to acquire more draft picks to fill open spots.
AJ Dillon Store Dillon has struggled against Green Bay so far this season. The quarterback has 266 yards on 85 carries, an average of 3.1 yards per carry.

Dillon is a free agent after this season, and the Packers may not have future plans for him because Aaron Jones is giving them good results at running back.

depth. If the Packers could get him
something, it would be worth it.

on the Packers defense and has a year left
on his contract after this season. Rumors
linking him to the Cowboys surfaced
when Dallas needed help in the secondary
due to Trevon Diggs .
