According to Football Insider, Everton has already surpassed Tottenham Hotspur
and grabbed the lead in the competition to sign Harry Maguire.
According to the source, Maguire, who was relieved of his club captaincy by Erik Ten Hag earlier
this summer, is a player that Manchester United is eager to sell.
The Red Devils allegedly would take £35 million for the center back, but the player demands that
his entire £10 million per year contract be paid before consenting to leave.
According to the source, Maguire had interest from Tottenham, Chelsea, and West Ham United.
After their initial proposal of £20 million was rejected, the Hammers even considered making a
second offer.
Everton is in the lead in the battle for Maguire.
It is clarified, though, that the Toffees have now moved ahead of the aforementioned London trio in
line for the England international’s signature.
Following the exits of Yerry Mina and Conor Coady, Sean Dyche is rumored to be eager to expand
