After the Tottenham fell through, a new bidding battle for the West Ham star began, and Nottingham Forest made a move for Aaron Cresswell.
After a Spurs agreement fell through, there is a new bidding battle for a West Ham player as
Nottingham Forest makes an approach for Aaron Cresswell.
In the summer transfer window, Tottenham Hotspur might have unintentionally assisted West
Ham in resolving a significant issue.
Although West Ham has been in severe need of young, contemporary full-backs for a while, the
recent revelation that Wolves were interested in Aaron Cresswell caught everyone by surprise.
Cresswell’s actions in attempting to pressure a transfer away from the Hammers have been even
more unexpected.
The seasoned defender has been absent from practice for the past two weeks since he won’t be
permitted to leave.
However, a deal between West Ham and Wolverhampton Wanderers has not been reached, with
the Hammers demanding £5 million.
Now, it appears that a circumstance at Tottenham has provided a prompt resolution.
Because a fresh bidding battle has broken out for the West Ham player after a failed agreement
between Tottenham and Cresswell, who is now wanted by Nottingham Forest.
After a deal for Tottenham’s Ryan Sessegnon fell through due to an injury he sustained,
Nottingham Forest manager Steve Cooper reportedly is looking for a player to fill that spot in his
squad.
Tottenham left defender According to The Daily Mail, Sessegnon underwent surgery last month for
a hamstring issue that will prevent him from playing at the beginning of the season.
Due to the failure of that transaction, Forest has entered the race to acquire Cresswell from West
Ham.
Nixon claims in a post to his Patreon page that Forest are prepared to compete with Wolves for
Cresswell’s signature. However, West Ham is adamant that their valuation be fulfilled and does not
want a deal that includes add-ons.
Additionally, Nixon affirms Cresswell’s continued avoidance of the West Ham first team in what is
becoming an acrimonious departure for the club’s longest serving player.

The German legend believes that the “deal might be done already,” calling Harry Kane’s
contributions to Tottenham “unbelievable” and “incredible.”
Bayern Munich is reportedly in a hurry to sign the 30-year-old because Daniel Levy’s failure to
respond to the club’s final offer for the hitman has angered Bayern officials. This is according to
Fabrizio Romano.
If so, that’s Levy in a nutshell, and for once, the Spurs supporters will be applauding this potential
trade. In any event, Klinsmann, who also transferred from Spurs to Bayern Munich, delivered a
transfer bombshell and said that he believes Kane is done, according to ESPN.
What’s interesting about all of this is that, according to Sky Sports, Kane will’stay’ at Spurs if his
future isn’t resolved by the time they play Brentford the following weekend.
With Klinsmann offering his thoughts on this protracted transfer situation, Ange Postecoglou is
wishing for that time to pass as quickly as possible.
The same thing happened to me many years ago, Klinsmann remarked. “I am aware of Harry’s past.
He has done an astounding and incredible amount for the club.
“Winning games and trophies—especially in football—is what life is all about. Now is the time for
him to decide; if it is his choice, the deal may already be finalized.
“However, the club must also make a decision, and that is where things stand. It makes sense that
Spurs would demand a high price for him. Bayern naturally doesn’t want to go overboard as they
already have the option of signing him for free the following season. It will likely come down to the
wire, in my opinion. They’ll probably continue discussing till the end of August. My impression is
that he will go to Bayern Munich.”
If Levy sells Kane after the window has closed,
Kane’s relationship with the chairman of Spurs, who is under criticism, might perhaps improve
slightly if he stays on board.
However, he will only receive verbal abuse if he decides to sell him, potentially too late in the
window.
