“Ange Postecoglou’s Ambitious £60m Tottenham Plan: Can He Land Arsenal’s Long-Term Target?”

Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham were shocked when Fulham took charge of the classic national team of Brazil. Fulhamhave reportedly led the race to sign Fluminense midfielder Andre, who is a

target for Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham. The 22-year-old is currently

one of the most sought-after players in

South America and is believed to be set

to join the Premier League club in

January. Andre broke into the

Fluminense first team in 2020 and has

been on the rise. In total, he played 163

matches in the jersey of the Brazilian giant, scoring four goals and providing

three assists. He usually operates in a

defensive midfield position and his best

qualities are blocking and breaking up

opponents’ attacks with interceptions.

That said, his performances have

attracted the attention of several top

clubs. He has also played twice for Brazil,

so there is no doubt about his quality.

Tottenham also want to sign Andre as

they consider a possible replacement for

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who has been

linked with a move away from Spurs for

some time. But now it looks like Fulham

could win the fierce race for the

Brazilian master. According to The

Sunday Mirror, it seems “very likely”

Andrew will make the move in January.

They claim Liverpool, Arsenal and

Tottenham are interested in him.

Gunners sporting director Edu has

personally taken note of his recent

appearances. However, the report claims

that Fulham “find themselves in the

center of the midfield position”. Marco Silva is interested in signing Andre as a

potential replacement for Joao Palhinha,

who could get another chance to join Bayern Munich in January despite

recently signing a new deal with the Cottagers. Joining Fulham could also be

the best option for Andre’s career, as he

is likely to get more game time at the Cottagers than at Liverpool, Arsenal or

Tottenham – all of whom have top-class

midfielders. Fluminense are said to value

Andre at around £30m, so it will be

interesting to see if Fulham are willing to

match that price tag in January.
