OFFICIAL: 4-star CB Santana Wilson signs with Texas Longhorns The Texas Longhorns have officially signed four-star cornerback Santana Wilson.
AUSTIN, Texas – The Texas Longhorns officially signed one of the top cornerbacks in the 2024 class after Desert Mountainand#039;s (Scottsdale, Ariz.) Santana Wilson put pen to paper during the early signing process on Wednesday. Other teams like Arizona State and Washington courted Wilson, taking official visits with both, but the lure of the Longhorns proved irresistible. Last season, Wilson had 32 tackles, one tackle for loss, one sack, 10 pass breakups, one forced fumble and three interceptions. The Longhorns already have a bright future with cornerbacks Malik Muhammad and Terrance Brook, and signing Wilson adds to that excitement. “When I came out there was a real family feeling and I knew this was a place I could call home,” Wilson told On3 Sports. “Also the facility and how everyone is always together and looking out for each other.andquot; Wilson cited Longhorns defensive coach Terry Joseph as the main reason he decided on Texas. “Definitely Terry Joseph, andquot; Wilson told On3. andquot; I mean, everybody on the defensive staff really, because my dad knows everybody here and I know they’re going to take care of me.
