Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could be


disappointed if they hope to land Andre in the January transfer window, with

Fulham now leading the deal for the midfielder. That’s according to a report

in the Sunday Mirror (19/11; page 74), which says Liverpool have also made inquiries about the Fluminense

youngster. Andrest looks set to be one of Brazil’s top future prospects in the

Premier League in the coming weeks. The 22-year-old player has played more

than a century of league matches for his club. Fulham are leading the race to sign Andre Andre is very likely to make a

move in January, with Liverpool named as frontrunners for his signature.

along with Tottenham. However, their report claims that Fulham find themselves in a favorable position.

Marco Silva’s men are interested in the star as a potential replacement for Joao

Palhinha, who could be given another chance to join Bayern Munich in January.

ANOTHER ARSENAL STORY Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs could find

themselves beaten if they fail to land the Brazilian Joining Fulham would certainly

be a smart move for Andrei. If Palhinha leaves, they offer the clearest route to

regular team football. And if he impresses at Craven Cottage, the likes of

Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool are unlikely to lose interest. Regardless, Liverpool seem to need a holding

midfielder. And Tottenham will not rule out deepening as they prepare to lose

Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarri to AFCON 2023. Arsenal have recently seen

Thomas Partey injured. So they may be wary of stepping up after missing out on

the Premier League title last year. Given the talent that has emerged from Brazil

in recent years, Fulham’s £30m offer could win over many sides.
