Roman confirms Spurs and sent scouts to see a player who loves to creates ruins with his dribbling skills
Tottenham are interested in Club Brugge prodigy Antonio Nusa, according to Fabrizio Romano (via Spurs Express).
Recently they have been watching him and even sent scouts to see him.
He also adds that many European clubs are chasing him.
Previously linked with a move to Chelsea in the summer transfer window, Nusa has now also attracted the attention of several European clubs.
The teenager’s current contract with Club Brugge runs until 2027. Despite his young age, Nusa has already played 53 matches for Club Brugge and has been directly involved in five goals and four assists.
His impressive displays earned him a call-up to the Norway squad, where he made a remarkable debut with a goal and an assist in a 6–0 win over Jordan.
In a recent interview, Nusa cited Neymar as his role model and highlighted their shared tendency to wreak havoc on the pitch with their dribbling skills.
“I like to cause chaos. Neymar is my role model because he creates chaos on the pitch with his dribbling, just like me. He’s one of the best in the world.”
Tottenham’s recent trend of actively signing young talent has seen the likes of Blackburn’s Ashley Phillips and Argentina striker Alejo Veliz in the summer transfer window.
With manager Ange Postecoglou’s
reputation for nurturing and developing
young players into first-team stars,
Tottenham’s interest in Nusa matches their
commitment to their youth ranks.
In addition, the club is said to be looking for
a left-sided striker due to injuries to Perisic
and Salomon, and Nusa could fit the bill.
Signing a player of his caliber would not
only strengthen the squad but also send a
message securing his services over other top
European clubs vying for his signature.
