Smith stated that Mills’ relationship with the 22-year-old is private and should not cause problems for his basketball career.
While Zion’s injury history and unreliability are important issues to consider, his off-court drama with Mills should not affect the Pelicans’ decision about his future with the team.
The last thing the organization needs is an off-court distraction, so hopefully Williamson and his camp can address these allegations sooner rather than later.
