“Will the Falcons’ Next Trade Propel Them to Victory? Find Out What’s in Store!”

The Falcons’ next trade after adding Van Jefferson from the Rams.

The Atlanta Falcons have an NFL season of 2023. There have been ups and downs so far. They made some notable moves, including trading up for offensive lineman Matthew Bergeron in the second round of the draft. However, they struggle to find consistency on the pitch. They currently have a 3-2 Week 6 record. One move that could help them turn things around is the recent acquisition of wide receiver Van Jefferson from the Los Angeles Rams. In this article, we discuss how the Falcons have fared this season, the acquisition of Van Jefferson, and the next trade the Falcons should make. The Falcons’ 2023 NFL season was a mixed bag.

They started the season with back-to-back wins over the Carolina Panthers and Green Bay Packers. However, two straight losses came at the hands of the Detroit Lions and the Jacksonville Jaguars. They bounced back with a win against the Houston Texans in Week 5. Next they have the Washington Commanders on tour. One of the Falcons’ biggest strengths this season has been the ground attack. They are currently 12th in the league in rushing yards per game (121.6). Rookie running back Bijan Robinson has played well, averaging over 100 yards per game. However, sophomore QB Desmond Ridder has been somewhat inconsistent. He is averaging over 214 yards per game and currently has a passer rating of 85.8. He can still recover. On the other hand, the Falcons were pretty good on defense. They are in the top 10 in both points per game (19.2) and yards per game (295.2). However, there is a lot of room for improvement. Van Jefferson’s season so far

Speaking of updates, the Atlanta Falcons made a big move on October 12, 2023 when they acquired Van Jefferson from the Los Angeles Rams in a big deal. It was a defining moment for the promising wide receiver. During his time with the Rams, Jefferson established himself as a valuable asset after playing in 49 games. During that time, he showed his skills and emerged as a reliable target for the Rams. The experience and knowledge he gained playing for a talented team in Los Angeles undoubtedly played a crucial role in his growth as a player. He will now join the Falcons for the remainder of the 2023 season. Jefferson should continue to make a significant impact on the field. He has already shown his ability in five games. He caught a total of eight passes for 108 yards. However, Jefferson in particular has yet to find the end zone this year. Transitioning from one franchise to another can be a difficult endeavor for any player, but we expect Jefferson to blend seamlessly into the Falcons’ offense. His dynamic style of play and potentially strong performance suggest he will be a key player in the Falcons’ offensive strategies as the season progresses. Falcons fans look forward to his continued contributions and are excited to see him thrive in team colors.

Now let’s look at the Falcons’ next trade after adding Jefferson.

 Take Ed Oliver

The Falcons have reportedly bolstered their incoming corps with the addition of Van Jefferson. However, their list indicates certain areas that need attention. One pressing concern is their pass rush, which has been particularly bad this season. In fact, they are dead last in the league with just 1.0 sacks per game. In this context, the Falcons are exploring ways to improve, and one trade option that is gaining momentum is Ed Oliver of the Buffalo Bills.
