“Pogacar is strong, but everyone gets beaten one day” – Andy Schleck believes Jonas Vingegaard can contest Tour de France win

Former Tour de France winner Andy Schleck has offered an optimistic outlook for Jonas Vingegaard’s chances against Tadej Pogacar in the upcoming Tour. Speaking to reporters, Schleck acknowledged Pogacar’s impressive form and consistency but insisted no rider is unbeatable forever.

“Pogacar is strong, but everyone gets beaten one day,” Schleck said. “Jonas has proven he can do it before, and with the right preparation and tactics, he can absolutely contest for the win again.”

Schleck also highlighted Vingegaard’s experience and composure in the high mountains as critical advantages. “He knows how to suffer, how to handle the pressure of the Tour,” Schleck added. “If his team supports him well and he’s recovered from his injuries, he will be there fighting for yellow.”

The comments come amid growing anticipation for the Pogacar-Vingegaard rivalry to renew in what promises to be another dramatic Tour de France showdown.
