Biggest question heading into Fall Camp: Can Kiffin’s retooled front protect Sam Leavitt?
After going 7-6 in 2025, LSU hit the portal hard. The offensive line was priority No. 1 — and it shows. Here’s where the battles stand as fall camp opens:
The Locks
1. Left Tackle: Jordan Seaton* – Colorado transfer
The No. 1 OT in the portal. At 6’5″, 285, he’s penciled in immediately and called the “brightest star” on this line. LSU needed an upgrade after Tyree Adams’ struggles last year, and Seaton should be that. 029203ec
*2. Center: Braelin Moore* – Virginia Tech transfer, returning starter
One of the only bright spots up front in 2025. Dealt with an ankle injury but was solid when healthy. LSU made a point to get him back. If healthy, he has All-SEC upside. e08a03ec

*3. Right Tackle: Weston Davis vs. Brysten Martinez*

*4. Left Guard: Bo Bordelon vs. Devin Harper*
Veteran story vs. portal talent. *Bo Bordelon* has been at LSU since the Orgeron days and earned first-team reps this spring. He’s the current favorite.
But *Devin Harper*, Ole Miss transfer and former blue-chip recruit, took first-team reps early and is right there. Whoever wins, the other becomes key depth. 03ec
*5. Right Guard: Aliou Bah*
Maryland transfer *Aliou Bah* is the other big portal add. Most projections have him starting at RG, though some still list Harper here. Bah gives LSU more size and SEC experience. 7cda88a4

1. *Cohesion*: 3-4 new starters. With Clemson in Week 1, they need to gel fast.
2. *Right side*: RT and both guards are wide open. Kiffin said there will be “shifting and substitutions throughout the season”.

Bottom Line
LSU ranked this group 7th on the team entering camp — not great, but way better than 2025. The talent is there with Seaton, Moore, Bah, and Harper. The question is can they block immediately against a schedule with 6 ranked teams, including No. 4 Texas and No. 11 Alabama. 0292
Kiffin’s offense will go as far as this line takes it. Fall camp will decide who protects Leavitt’s blindside and who opens holes against that loaded SEC schedule.
