Celebrated bassist, singer-songwriter, and genre-bending musician Tal Wilkenfeld has announced her much-anticipated new album, set for release in early 2026. The project, described as a powerful blend of jazz-rock fusion, soulful vocals, and intimate storytelling, promises to push musical boundaries while staying true to Wilkenfeld’s deeply emotional artistry.

Titled *Echoes & Embers*, the album is Wilkenfeld’s boldest statement yet, weaving together virtuosic bass performances, introspective lyrics, and a dynamic soundscape that draws from her vast musical influences—ranging from Jaco Pastorius and Jeff Buckley to modern neo-soul.

In a video posted to her social media accounts, Wilkenfeld explained the inspiration behind the record: “This album is about reconnection—with the past, with people, with ourselves. Every note has a memory. Every lyric is a reflection.”

*Echoes & Embers* features collaborations with acclaimed musicians from both jazz and rock circles, including guitarist John Scofield, drummer Nate Smith, and keyboardist Cory Henry. The album was recorded across multiple iconic studios in Los Angeles and New York, capturing the organic, improvisational spirit that Wilkenfeld is known for.

A world tour in support of the album is scheduled to begin in March 2026, with Wilkenfeld performing in intimate venues and major festivals across North America, Europe, and Australia.

With its rich textures, fearless experimentation, and personal lyricism, *Echoes & Embers* is already generating buzz among critics and fans alike—cementing Tal Wilkenfeld’s place as one of the most compelling voices in modern music.
