**Madonna to Release Long-Lost ‘Ray of Light’ Remix Album, ‘Veronica Electronica’**
In a surprise move that has thrilled die-hard fans and dance music aficionados alike, **Madonna** has announced the official release of her long-rumored remix project, *Veronica Electronica*—a companion album to her 1998 masterpiece *Ray of Light*. Once considered a mythical piece of unreleased Madonna lore, the project is now confirmed for release in late 2025, digitally and on limited-edition vinyl.
Originally conceived during the peak of her *Ray of Light* era, *Veronica Electronica* is a sonic deep dive into the cutting-edge electronic and ambient styles that defined Madonna’s critically acclaimed reinvention. The album will feature rare remixes by **William Orbit**, **Sasha**, **BT**, and **Victor Calderone**, including long-sought-after versions of *“Frozen,”* *“Nothing Really Matters,”* and *“The Power of Good-Bye.”*
In a statement released by Warner Records, Madonna shared, *“This project was a love letter to the underground. It was too experimental back then, but the time has come. The world is ready for Veronica.”*
Fans may recall that *Veronica Electronica* first appeared on early-2000s fan forums and leaked tracklists but was shelved indefinitely amid label shakeups and creative redirection. Over two decades later, Madonna’s decision to officially release the album is being hailed as both a nostalgic gift and a bold celebration of her boundary-pushing legacy.
The release will also include new liner notes from Madonna and Orbit, unseen behind-the-scenes photos, and a bonus track titled *“Liquid Light,”* an unreleased ambient-pop piece that bridges *Ray of Light* and her later explorations of spiritual music.
*Veronica Electronica* is now available for pre-order, with streaming set to launch December 5, 2025.
