DEAL ACCEPTED: Synth-rock legends Depeche Mode sign a 4-year contract with House of Versace, worth \$198 Million as their new global faces and ambassadors of avant-garde darkness.

In a bold and atmospheric move, House of Versace has announced an unprecedented 4-year, \$198 million collaboration with iconic synth-rock band Depeche Mode. The band will serve as the brand’s new global faces and ambassadors of avant-garde darkness, bringing their signature style and haunting aesthetic into the world of high fashion.

The campaign, titled “Black Celebration: Depeche Mode x Versace,” will launch in early 2026 and include immersive visual installations, fashion-forward capsule collections, and a global tour experience that fuses sound, light, and couture.

“Depeche Mode has always embodied the interplay of shadow and light — emotionally, sonically, and stylistically,” said Donatella Versace. “Their vision perfectly aligns with the bold sophistication and mystery at the heart of Versace.”

The campaign visuals will feature Dave Gahan and Martin Gore in sharp, gothic-inspired tailoring reimagined with futuristic fabrics, chain-metal embroidery, and digital projections. A cinematic fashion film directed by an acclaimed auteur is also in production.

In a rare statement, Depeche Mode shared: “Fashion, like music, is about pushing limits and revealing truth. Versace has the power and platform to take our visual language to the next level.”

This collaboration is expected to redefine the intersection of fashion and music for the new era, inviting audiences into an experience where art, sound, and couture converge in beautifully dark harmony.
